Firstly let me say Happy New Year! Secondly... I have decided to start a blog.
Well, if the truth be known this is not my first attempt, but I am more determined than ever to try this thing out properly. Why start a blog? Well, why not I say! Hence the name...
Why now? I remember my childhood years and recall a confident and creative performer. As I grew older, I decided to focus more on my education and towards the career (that dreaded word) that I now have. Don't get me wrong, and I am delighted with the path I chose and the job I do now...
But, I can't help but miss the creative soul I once had and regret ever losing this aspect of my character. Last year I had a bit of a 'third-life crisis' and decided to start blogging, but it wasn't right. I couldn't say that I was proud of any of the content that I had created and felt that it was all a little samey and sterile. Not very personal. Not very me.
So this time round I have decided to really be true to this blog thing. To stay dedicated, to be true to myself, to be proud of what I produce.
And what better time than the New Year to start. 2015 will be a HUGE year for me personally and professionally and I want to create a place where I can document all of the exciting things to come.
